New Grill

For Father's Day my husband got a new grill. It is a stainless steel Brinkman. It is wonderful. I am sure that you could grill about forty hamburgers on it at one time. You might even have room for steaks too. It is by far the nicest grill we have had. We have already used it several times and love it. I would strongly recommend it.

Barcode scanners

I enjoy shopping. Whether it's for clothes, food or home improvements, it's a lot of fun. It's neat how they now have the barcode scanners so you can check prices on items as you shop. Sometime I'm not really sure what they will ring up at especially if they are on sale.

Rain Rain Rain

It has been raining for days. Where is the sunshine? It's officially summer now and it would be nice to feel like it some days. I bought some new flowers and wanted to plant them, but it's just been too wet to do so. It's even difficult to find a day to mow.

Easy DIY Valentine's chocolates

Guest post written by Amy Sherman

I love the idea of making all kinds of homemade Valentine's candy with my family. But, I think that some of the recipes for making candy that I find on the internet just sound like so much trouble to get so little out of them! So, instead, I decided to try and find some really simple versions of Valentine's candy to make for my family for the holiday.

So I went online to find some recipes for really easy types of candy to make. As I was searching for some of those, I came across the website www.get.wildblue.com and after I looked through all of it, I decided to change over our home internet service to the provider on that website. Our internet service hasn't been working too well for a while anyway, so I was glad to find that website.

I did find some recipes for easy DIY Valentines chocolates, that include using candy trays for them. I even found one that includes chocolates with a peanut butter center, so I hope those turn out as planned.

Father's Day

What a great Father's Day! It turned out to be sunny and warm. One of my husbands favorite things to do is to golf. He and our son-in-law decided to go golfing. Then my daughter and I made one of their favorite meals for supper. My mom's enchilada recipe. It turned out very good. Our son's later called their dad, which also made his day. I called my dad today also. It sounded like he had a nice day too. :)

Extenze side effects

In taking any type of medication, I feel it is important to be informed. I like to read up on all that it does and side effects it may have. For your own well being you may want to check out extenze side effects and safety as well as other drugs you may take or be prescribed. Checking with your medical doctor is probably best.

vtech batteries

I was cleaning out my refrigerator today and found that I had half a shelf of a variety of batteriers. There are AA, AAA, D, C,vtech batteries and more. I was told once, long ago, that batteries will last longer if kept in the fridg. I think it's time to slow down on buying them however.

Blackberry

My current phone is a Blackberry. It is the first one I have had and so far I have to say that it is a good phone. It does have very small keys but I have gotten used to them. I have some music downloaded on the phone and it also takes fairly good pictures. I may change to a different phone next time but for now I like this one.

iphone 4 accessories

My youngest son is so into technology. He loves all of the latest newest gadgets. He has teh iphone 4 and never seems to keep a phone for very long. He will buy the newest one and loves all of the iphone 4 accessories as well. He can't seem to get enough.

Yoga pants

Life can be stressful. Everyone always seems so busy. There are ways to relax. For some it may be by doing yoga. I saw a picture recently of a group doing yoga in central park. They were wearing neat yoga pants and other gear. It' looked like they were having fun with it.

Tub Time

We recently got together with all of our family. It was so much fun. Later in the day after the kids came in from playing, they decided they wanted to take a bath. They all crawled in together. They can still fit. It won't be long and they won't anymore.

Electronic Cigarettes

Growing up I watched my dad and brother both smoke. Dad like cigarettes, cigars and even a pipe now and again. They can all leave a mess at times. I was wondering if either of them had seen the Blu Cigs. The rechargeable cigarette that has a cartridge and comes in different flavors. You can purchase these with a 1 year warranty and also a 30 day money back guarantee. So really, there isn't a risk. You can always return them. The free shipping is a plus also. Times have changed and so has the cigarette. Check these out if you are looking for something different.

Housing Market

Apparently the housing market has changed in the recent months. It has been many years since we bought our home so we aren't really in the loop of home sales and purchasing. I do know that interest rates have dropped considerably since our purchase. Some have talked about interest in the lower 3% range. Our first home loan was over 12%. What a difference!

A Little Rain

Some say the rain is much needed and some that live a short distance away say they have had enough. As long as we don't get bad storms I don't mind an evening of rain. It tends to clean things off a bit and makes everything smell fresh. As I have said before, it is better to have rain than snow.

ATV Lights

We went up to Wisconsin to see my relatives years ago. It was so much fun and quite beautiful. They have a cabin out in the woods and ATV's that we took out for a ride in the woods at night. The ATV Lights were blinding if we happened to see a deer. Being out in nature was so much fun!

Naturally increase testosterone

I know there are people who struggle with health issues. I had a cousin that had problems during adolescence with growth. Back then you couldn't find all of the products that are on the market today. He could have looked into a naturally increase testosterone supplement. They say that Omega 3 can help also.

Christmas photo cards

We are considering putting our house on the market. So we have begun some deeper cleaning. While working in one of my cupboards, I came across some older Christmas photo cards. It was fun to see them. People have changed so much and some of them are no longer with us. Time sure has a way of changing things, doesn't it?

Reading

Have you ever seen the signs that say 'readers are leaders'? It has been many years since I have seen one but the phrase has stuck in my head. I do think that reading is a good thing although it depends on what is being read. My favorite book is the Bible. There are many other good books too. I know people that enjoy fiction rather than true stories. Some love the romance while others read westerns. Whatever the story, I do think it is important to be a good reader. So go ahead, read!

Topamax lawsuit

When reading about the Topamax lawsuit, I was quite surprised. As one that has taken this drug in the past, it was a concern to have read about this. For many years I have dealt with migraines. Topamax is an anti-convulsant drug. It is often used to treat epileptic seizures. It can also be prescribed to help prevent migraines. They are now finding that Topamax can result in birth defects such as cleft palate and cleft lip. The law firm of O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath understand this lawsuit and the effects of Topamax. For more information you can contact them at O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath – Personal Injury Lawyers – 808 West Avenue, Austin, TX. 78701 – 512-494-9949.

Blackberry Phone

I have had my Blackberry phone several months and I am getting used to it. I know there are many features that I haven't used yet but I am catching on pretty well. There are so many cool phones to choose from. Maybe next time I will get something different but for now the Blackberry is fine.

Relaxing

Tonight I decided to relax a bit. I have been cleaning the house, washing clothes and planting flowers so I figured it would be nice to kick back a bit tonight. It has been great weather for outside work and our yard looks pretty good. It has been dry but we may get some rain soon. This is one of favorite seasons.

Topamax Birth Defects Lawyer

Over the years I have suffered with migraines. In doctoring I was placed on the drug Topamax. It was to help stop and lesson the migraines I was having. I began to lose my hair so was soon taken off of the drug. Now I am reading about other side effects that may be connected with this medication. A Topamax Birth Defects Lawyer can give you more details and information about this. Topamax may result in serious birth defects such as a cleft palate or cleft lip. With those you can experience problems with eating and communicating. If concerned you can find out more.

Hammock

What a wonderful place to relax. My son gave his wife a hammock for Mother's Day. While there over Memorial Day, we all had to try it out. What a great place to relax. The grand kids loved it too!
