Buying Gold

Did you know that you can purchase silver, gold and other precious metals and coins from the United States Gold Bureau? They make it easy to buy metals and then have them delivered to you or arranged for safe storage. If you've ever thought about it, especially with silver, now is the time to do it. World demand for silver exceeds annual production so it's a great time to buy. If you're interested in learning more, I'd recommend checking out the United States gold Bureau and all the helpful information they have there. If you're like me, you'll want to buy gold eagle coinsor silver after hearing how easy it is to do.

Busy Week

I am pretty tired tonight. We've had a very busy week, and until this carpet is all put in, it is going to stay that way. I'm hoping all goes smoothly. So far I'm really liking what has been done and look forward to seeing it all done. I think it's going to look really nice. Some of that carpet has needed replacing for quite some time and looks rather warn. New and modern will be a very nice change. I don't think we'll wait that long again to get new carpet. It makes such a difference!

Summer

Can you believe July is almost over already? Where has this summer gone?! It seems winter lasts FOREVER, and then the short time we actually have nice weather it is gone before we can hardly enjoy it. Our summer hasn't been all that great so far. We have had a lot of rain, cool weather, way too hot weather...and so many mosquitoes that spending time outdoors in the evenings is out of the question. Hopefully August and September will be better.

Transunion Settlement

Did you know that between 1987 and 2000, TransUnion sold confidential credit information to target marketing companies in the US illegally?! WOW! This was quite shocking to me and I'm only just now hearing about it. They are a credit reporting company and as many of you probably know, disclosure of such personal information is a big no no that can get them in a lot of trouble.

Thankfully, there are skill attorneys at O'Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath who understand that this is unacceptable and want to help. If you applied for credit in the US between the years previously mentioned, it is likely you have a claim against TransUnion. You may want to take a moment and fill out their intake form for a free consultation. Take a look and see what you think about this Transunion Settlement situation.

Hot! Hot! Hot!

Yes you heard it! It is very hot and humid here. It is so refreshing to enter a building that is air conditioned. It's difficult to spend very much time out there at all. I'm not sure how all the folks are out there riding on RAGBRAI this week. It must be physically draining for them.

Daughters

This is our daughter and her son Kaden. We love to see new pictures! Their family enjoys going to their city pool on the weekends. It's sure been warm enough to do so. Little Kaden is so much like his mommy. He reminds us of her when she was his age. What a little sweetheart.

Buying Gold and Silver

Have you ever thought to buy gold bullion before? I've been reading more and more about it as a wise investment option and think it's definitely worth considering. With the United States Gold Bureau, you can purchase silver, gold and other precious metals. They are kind enough to then arrange for immediate delivery or safe storage at an independent bank or depository. Sounds easy enough, right?

As far as silver goes, there has actually never been a better time to buy it. The World demand for it exceeds annual production, so this is a very good thing! As an investment product, it's available in coin or ingot form. Ingots are generally cast in a convenient size and shape for easy storage.

If you're looking into it for yourself or just want to learn more, I'd recommend checking out the United States Gold Bureau.

Netbook

We have enjoyed our little netbook. I am actually using it right now. It is definitely small and you need to get used to the size. There is no CD drive but we really don't need one. We can surf the net, use wireless printing and do most anything else we want to do. It was much cheaper to buy than some regular laptops too.

MP3 players

I can remember many years ago I started to go for long walks. It was merely for the exercise at the time. Back then I had a disc player. It would hold one CD full of a doz songs or so. If I moved to quickly it might skip. I also owned a Cassette player that I could wear while walking. It also only held just so many songs. Now with the new MP3 players a person can download as many as 1000 or more songs. The sound is amazing and there is no worry of the unit skipping. Technology moves on.....

Earwigs

Have you ever heard of an earwig? Up until a couple years ago I hadn't. When we did some landscaping we started to see them. We have had a few in the house too. Bill spread some bug killer around the doors and in the grass and I think they are dying off. Apparently they don't hurt you but they are ugly little things. Some people haven't seen them. For those people, come on over.

LL in LA

Guest post written by Melissa Houghton

When I heard that LL Cool J was on the new series “NCIS: Los Angeles,” I knew I had to start watching it.

I’ve always shied away from all the crime shows like “NCIS” and “Law & Order” because they seem so depressing and addictive. There’s too much crazy real-life crime going on that I don’t want to watch it for entertainment. But I made the exception for LL.

Once I started watching it on direct tv wild blue I knew that I would have to look up a bunch of his old songs with my wild blue internet like “Jingling Baby” and “Back Seat.” I used to listen to his music all the time when I was in high school and was really glad once he started making appearances in TV shows and movies.

The weirdest and my personal favorite one of those had to be when he was in "Halloween H20." There’s almost nothing more that I love than a random musician or rapper in a bad horror movie. For now I guess I’ll have to settle for just watching him fight the bad guys that actually die in “NCIS: LA.”

Chops on the grill

Tonight we had chops on the grill. Bill got a new grill for Father's Day and we have used it several times already. Tonight I wanted to be the one to use the grill. It was great. I had no trouble getting it started and the food cooked so much better than our old grill. I was amazed at how fast it cooled off too. I am glad Bill got this wonderful gift and I plan on using it too.

Flower Girl

Today we get to go to a wedding. Our son in law's sister is getting married, and our granddaughter, Kaelyn is the flower girl. This is the first wedding she's been in and is very excited about it. She loves to get all dressed up, and I'm sure will be in awe of the beautiful bride. I am really looking forward to seeing her looking so cute and can't wait to get pics. I'll have to be sure to share them here once we have some. I know she'll do just great!

Earwigs

We have seen plenty of earwig bugs this year. They are gross looking things too. Most people that I have talked to have said they are tired of these bugs too. Earwigs seem to like dark, damp and cool areas. This includes under the deck, in the grass and in our keyless entry for the garage. I prefer warm weather over cold but right now I wish it was colder so we could get rid of the earwigs. If you haven't seen them, do an internet search.

4th of July!!

We had a wonderful weekend with our family over the 4th! We decided to go see some fireworks on Sunday night. The mosquito's were bad, but we still had a great time! The older grandchildren had a fun time with the sparklers and watching the fireworks. The babies just stared at the lights. What an awesome time!

Side Effects Of Diet Pills

When I was younger I was concerned about every pound I gained. I remember one time walking through a store and picking up some diet pills. After taking just one I found side effects of diet pills were very real. I was dizzy and nauseous. I was afraid of taking them after that. I'm not sure why I was so concerned at that time anyway, but I do feel it's well worth the time researching a product before actually taking it.

108R00725

I've worked in an office for over twenty years now. So many things have changed in that time. Our office supplies is one of them. Over those years we have seen the computer come into play and all it is able to do for us. We now shop for items such as the Xerox Phaser 8560, 8560MFP Solid Ink Sticks (108R00725), toner or other ink supplies. Because of the computer and internet, it is fast and efficient to shop and receive what ever it is we are needing. Change can be a good thing.

Time Square

We were sure to visit the famous Time Square on our recent NYC vacation! It is as crazy busy as it always appears. The saying "The city that never sleeps" is so true of New York. There were people everywhere. Even at 1:00 in the morning and that was a weekday.

Vitamin For Acne

My husband and I raised three children. In raising them we found them to be quite individual in many ways. They had their own goals and interests. During the adolescent years some had more of a problem with acne then others. I see that now there is a vitamin for acne type of treatment. I think that sounds interesting and definitely worth checking out.

New York New York!

We recently spent a week in NYC! We has such a great time! This is a photo of us at the "Top of the Rock" in Rockefeller Center. You can see the Empire State Building behind us. If you are to travel to NYC, I highly recommend The Top of the Rock. It is easier, quicker and handier then the Empire State Building. It has an awesome view of the city. We were sure to go around sunset so we could catch the daylight and evening view. Beautiful!!!
