Increase Signal

Technology continues to move forward. If you don't learn and try to keep up, it will leave you behind. How things have changed. Ten or fifteen years ago we didn't have a decent computer. Now there are ways to increase signal in our home. I know I can be pretty impatient at times and love when things run smoothly and quickly. We're trying to keep up.

Graduation Announcements

Graduation time is almost upon us and there are a great many graduates this year in our family and extended family. Because we have had so much experience ourselves with various types of graduation announcements, many of our family members have come to us for advice on what they should do about their graduation announcements for their children. We, ourselves, went through the high school graduate announcement, then college graduation announcements and now our son is graduating and receiving his Master's degree. Because there are a number of graduations such as high school, college, Master's degree graduations and also those graduating for a career such as a dentist or doctor and other fields, I like to suggest that they get on the Internet and check out all the various types of announcements that are available. It is great to find one company that can furnish all the types you need. For example, a high school student may choose to have their school colors on their announcements. Many of them wish to have photos of themselves from childhood to adult. They all want to have the year 2012 on the announcement, of course. For those who have completed many years of study in order to become a doctor, lawyer, nurse, just to name a few examples, I've suggested graduation announcements that state the school on their announcement and a picture of their profession on it, as well. A cap and gown could also be used on high school and college graduations, as well as, gender specific announcements such as boy or girl. I have been receiving quite a few lately that have a number of photos of the graduate on them so it is all up to the graduate, actually, to help the parent out with the decisions on which graduation announcements to use. No matter what is chosen, they will no doubt be keepsakes for their families and friends for many years to come as a token of their special day. I know each one we have received has meant a great deal to us.

The Farm

Two of our grandchildren live on a farm. They have more fun together out there! They have chickens, kitties and a dog. They help mommy in planting the garden and flowers. Such a great time!

Too Cold To Walk

Our dog loves to take walks but it has been too cold to stay out very long. I think if it was up to the dog we would walk all over town. She is getting old but she still loves being outside. I enjoy the walks more in nice weather. I am not a fan of the snow, cold and wind. Soon it will be nice and the dog and I will be both be happy.

B.C. Rich Guitars

Over the years we have raised three children. Each one was so different. Their interests were also unique and different. Our youngest son loved music and began to take an interest in guitars. He like the B.C. Rich Guitars as well as others. He even taught himself how to play. Music can be such an important part of ones life.

Sheetrock

We have been busy working in the basement, hanging sheetrock. It is fun to see the transformation from a bare walled area to a partially completed room. It may take quite awhile to get done but that is ok with me. Eventually we will have a bathroom down there too, with a shower. How nice that will be.

Tillman gloves

We recently purchased a new home. Our basement was wide open and unfinished. My husband decided he would begin work on it. We have found that he has needed a lot of tools and equipment. A pair of tillman gloves have come in handy as well as googles and other things. There is always something new he is in need of.
