More Snow

I don't know which to believe. One day the weatherman says we are going to get freezing rain but we were above freezing so it was just rain. That was good because some of the snow disappeared but there is plenty left. Then it created a great deal of fog and makes driving very difficult especially at night. Now he is saying we will get freezing rain tomorrow which is worse because it often clings to the highlines and knocks down wires and cuts off electricity. That is especially bad in winter to not have heat.

Weather Report

The weather report certainly has not been good. They have been saying that our thick fog was going to get worse all day and it did. Then we had some rain overnight that took down some of the huge snowbanks but it causes more fog. Now they say we could have freezing rain tomorrow which will make everything very slippery and not good for those going out on New Years Eve.

Freezing Rain

We have had one hard winter so far. There has been an unusual amount of snow and I heard on the television yesterday that if we have more snow before Jan. 1 that it will break all records. I believe we have had 27.5 inches already just in December. The people moving snow just don't know where to put it anymore. We are supposed to get freezing rain tomorrow and that is bad because often the lines go down and the lights go out leaving you without heat. I hope that doesn't happen.

Christmas

SNOW SNOW SNOW

You can't get much whiter then it looks outside now! We have trouble seeing our dog Zoe out there. She's not to sure about all of this. She's still good to ask to go out when she needs too though. :)

Warmth

Even though it is cold outside we have warmth in the house. I don't care for the cold and wouldn't want to be outside for very long. Back when I was young I didn't mind it so much. I think that is pretty common. The older we get the more we enjoy warm weather instead of the cold.

My husband thinks a skid loader would be handy for moving snow. I agree but we wouldn't have room to store it. I know for a fact that I am not leaving my car outside so a skid loader can sit inside. He might just have to build another garage if he wants a skid loader that badly.

Ham Dinner

For Christmas dinner we are going to have a nice big ham made in the crockpot. It will be a wonderful meal. Not all of the family knows what we are having for dinner. Too Much Snow

I am not a big winter fan and personally think that we have too much snow already. I know that we have a few months before spring but I am ready for it. I love all seasons except winter. It isn't fun to be out in the cold or drive in nasty weather. I have done that too many times. Come on spring weather!

Skinny Dog

Ever since our dog Zoe has been eating better she looks so much better. She used to get table food quite regularly but not any more. She has her nice little Bichon shape again thanks to her new canned food and no scraps from the table. Zoe used to weigh about 26 pounds and is now a lean 18 pounds.
