Another Day Another Dollar

I wonder who coined the phrase, Another Day Another Dollar. I hope that whoever it was didn't really get only a dollar a day! There was a day, I am sure that a person got a dollar or maybe even less than that for a days work. Today there would be some that might even say Another Day Another Thousand Dollars, and more.
