Grilling is one of our favorite things to do in the summertime! Our children gave Bill this new grill for Father's Day! What an awesome gift! He has already put it to good use. Yum Yum!

New Grass

We planted some new grass in parts of the yard. It is very plush and we have rabbits and cats that seem to be enjoying it. In fact, these animals are laying in the new grass causing it to flatten out. I guess we really don't care if that happens. It is better than having bare ground in the yard.

Summer Weather

We are finally getting some summer weather. It has been warm and dry the past couple days. They are predicting some rain by the end of the week but so far it has been great weather. It is about time too since we have had several nasty storms lately, including some tornadoes in the area. I hope the nice weather hangs in there for the upcoming fourth of July weekend.

Sinks

We have been working at updating our home over the past year and a half. Most light fixtures and hardware have been replaced. In picking out the new faucets we also checked out the sinks. There are so many different styles available these days. So many decisions to make. We have been happy with the way things are turning out.

Kaden's 6 months old

Our grandson Kaden is 6 months old already. He and his cousin Israel were born 12 days apart. This is Kaden's new picture.

Our daughter-in-law got into coupon clipping when they lived in texas. They found that by using the coupons when there were already deals for those items going on...they could save hundreds of dollars each time they went shopping. Zoe's New Perch

Our dog is a nine year old Bichon named Zoe. Lately she has been laying on the pillows at the end of the couch. Actually she lays on the arm rest of the couch. She never used to like that area but now it is one of her favorite places to perch and rest. For being nine she still has a lot of energy.

Old Clock

Several years ago we got an old clock from Bill's parents. It is a Regulator type that you need to wind up periodically. Actually there are two areas you can wind, one for the time and the other for the chime. Right now we don't have the chime on. It is a pretty clock that goes well with our other furnishings. I am glad we have it. It reminds us of Bill's mom and dad.

Contemporary Coffee Tables

My husband and I have been enjoying the HGTV show on TV. It is so much fun to watch them transform a room or home into a whole new look. We decided that we would begin working on our home and change it up a bit. Well, what started out to be a small project, soon grew. That's OK, we've been happy with the results. We loved shopping for new furnishings and found a wide selection of contemporary coffee tables and other items. It feels so great to have a new look!
