Rain

I guess the weather man was right. We are getting rain tonight. I hope it doesn't storm. The rain isn't bad for us who live in town but I hope the farmers don't mind it either. It sure does make the grass nice and green. I love this time of year. Although after we mow the grass, Zoe's feet get very green. It is a pain to have to clean her feet after she goes outside.

Dear John

Last night we went to the movie called 'Dear John'. Yes, it was kind of a chick flick but even Bill enjoyed it. During the film you would be thinking you knew what was going to happen next but we were surprised when at times something unexpected happened. Not many were at the show, probably because it was the last night for it. We enjoyed it.

Mattress

After twenty plus years, my husband and I finally got a new mattress and box spring. Once getting it, we realized how over due we were for a new bed. It has made such a difference. We really never knew how bad the old mattress set was. A person sleeps better and enjoys their rest when they have a great bed to sleep in. They say our sleep is so important in keeping us healthy. I'm sure glad we took that step finally.

Kaden Scott

Our grandson Kaden Scott is one of the happiest babies. He is about 5 months old and is always so smiley. We thought that his sister Kaelyn was a great baby! They have been blessed with two very happy children. We have four grandchildren and they all four seem so happy and well adjusted. What blessings they truly are....

What's Up Zoe?

Last week our dog Zoe had some kind of intestinal problem and now she is limping on three legs. Last night she came in from outside and jumped up on the couch to sit with Bill. She must have strained something in her leg because she let out a loud cry. The worst I've heard from her. We tried to comfort her, but you could tell she was in pain. We took her to the vet at about 9 PM. It sounds like it is probably a strain instead of a fracture. I guess that is good. Poor little dog.

Easter

What a great weekend we had!! Our entire family was home and we had the best time!! Kaelyn and Emry loved being outside for awhile. This picture grabbed my heart. It so reminded me of Josh and Jenna at that age. Jen was always the shy quiet one and Josh was always talking and trying to get her attention. Believe it or not, Kaelyn is the talkative one, but you can't tell it from this picture. :)
