A Bit Cooler

The past few nights have been a bit cooler. We have been able to leave some windows open at night and shut off the AC. As long as it isn't very humid I don't mind having the windows open during the evening. The fresh night air is a welcome change. I know that before long we will be back in fall and winter weather. The seasons seem to change very quickly.

I recently found a website that makes it easy to download ring tones. Even making my own is simple. There are some songs and sounds that cost a small amount but many are free. All you have to do is register using a cell phone number and get downloading. I have fun adding ring tones to my phone.

A couple of years ago my two oldest children surprised us with our first two grandchildren. It has been an awesome ride. Grandchildren are such a blessing. Now our children are expecting again. There are such neat baby ideas our there. From birth announcements to clothing, it is easy to find it all. We sure enjoy these precious little ones.

Big Brother

I don't know about you, but it seems like I always have a show or two each season that I enjoy watching. This season it's been Big Brother. Bill and I both have enjoyed it so far, and with each week it gets more and more intense and interesting. We don't always get to watch it at the exact time it airs, but thankfully we do have DVR which allows us to watch it later if we miss it the first time! I think I may have even got my daughter hooked on it now too. It's a great show!

Can you believe it's already time for children to go back to school. WOW! The summer has sure flown by. Teachers are busy preparing for the arrival of their new students. Cleaning and staging classroom desks, decorating bulletin boards and more. Hopefully the weather will be cool and the new school year successful!

Painting

Well, we were at it again. We finished painting our up stairs bathroom today. Went with a lighter shade of sage green. I think it's going to look great with the other bathroom accessories we have bought. We should be officially done painting on the main level now. Re-staining the deck is next on the to-do list. We would like to get going on the downstairs after that. It will feel good when it's all done.

I think I have become a shoe collector. I love to find a pair that goes perfectly with a particular outfit. I am also into comfort as well as style.
